It's been a long time coming, but Sweet Tooth season 3 is finally arriving on our screens!
Season 2 was another action-packed season, ending with Gus (Christian Convery) embarking on a mission to find his mother Birdie (Amy Seimetz) alongside Jepperd (Nonso Anozie), Becky (Stefania LaVie Owen) and Wendy (Naledi Murray).
The new episodes will also continue to explore the state of the world after many animal hybrids emerged around the same time as a terrible virus, nicknamed The Sick, ravaged the planet.

Christian Convery plays Gus
Who is Gus? Gus is a young boy who is half-human and half-deer. He has been raised deep in the woods by his sickly father, who has always warned him against venturing into the outside world. However, when he crosses paths with a mysterious loner named Jepperd who promises protection, Gus is taken on a journey that will change his life forever.

What else has Christian Convery been in? Convery has been working in Hollywood since he was a mere seven years old, bagging early roles in Supernatural, Marvel's Legion and Lucifer. More recently, he played a supporting role in family comedy Playing With Fire, starring opposite John Cena.
Nonso Anozie plays Tommy Jepperd
Who is Tommy Jepperd? Jepperd is a loner who stumbles upon Gus one day and takes him under his wing. The two of them go on a journey that reveals more about the enigmatic man's past.
What else has Nonso Anozie been in? Game of Thrones fans may recognise Anozie as Xaro Xhoan Daxos, a merchant who encounters Daenerys Targaryen in the city of Qarth. He has featured in other major fantasy projects including Ender's Game, Artemis Fowl and Disney's Cinderella, as well as Donald Glover's musical film Guava Island.
Adeel Akhtar plays Dr Aditya Singh
Who is Dr Aditya Singh? Dr Singh is a medical professional who is conducting research into the virus that has ravaged the human race, as well as it mysterious connection with the human/animal hybrids.
What else has Adeel Akhtar been in? Akhtar won a BAFTA for his role in 2016 television film Murdered By My Father. His other television credits include The Job Lot, Channel 4's Utopia and ITV crime drama Unforgotten. In film, he his known for his performances in Four Lions, The Big Sick, Murder Mystery and Enola Holmes.
Stefania LaVie Owen plays Becky
Who is Becky? Becky is a teenage girl who leads a gang in this new post-apocalyptic world. She starts season 3 by accompanying Gus to find his mother.
What else has Stefania LaVie Owen been in? Owen played Dorrit Bradshaw in Sex and the City prequel The Carrie Diaries and has since appeared in festive horror flick Krampus, Netflix thriller Messiah and Amazon Prime Video's The Wilds.
Naledi Murray plays Wendy
Who is Wendy? Wendy is a hybrid and a close friend of Gus's. At the start of season 3, we find her accompanying Gus on his mission to find his mother, after the tragic death of her own mother, Aimee.
What else has Naledi Murray been in? Murray may be young but she has appeared in The Undoing, the reboot of First Wives Club, Tommy, The Bug Diaries, and Netflix's Seven Seconds.
Amy Seimetz plays Birdie
Who is Birdie? Birdie is Gus's mother. She was previously presumed dead but it was revealed that she's actually living in Alaska. Season 3 begins with Gus and co on a mission to find her.
Where have I seen Amy Seimetz before? Seimetz is known for various roles including Kris in Upstream Colour and Rachel in Pet Semetary. She's also a writer and director.
Rosalind Chao as Mrs Helen Zhang
Who is Helen Zhang? Zhang is a warlord and a member of The Three.
Where have I seen Rosalind Chao before? Chao is known for roles across film and TV, including Ye Wenjie in 3 Body Problem, Li in the live-action Mulan film, and Caroline in Better Things.
Cara Gee plays Siana
Who is Siana? Siana is a new character for season 3 – not much is known about her as of yet.
Where have I seen Cara Gee before? Gee is known for roles including Camina Drummer in The Expanse and Lena Mahikan in Empire of Dirt.
Ayazhan Dalabayeva plays Nuka
Who is Nuka? Nuka is a new character for season 3. She appears to be the hybrid daughter of Siana.
Where have I seen Ayazhan Dalabayeva before? She's known for roles including Rebecca in Night Swim.
James Brolin is the narrator
Who is the narrator? The narrator is, of course, the voice that details Gus's journey for the viewer.
Where have I heard James Brolin before? James Brolin has had an illustrious career across TV and film and is known for roles including John Blane in Westworld, General Ralph Landry in Traffic and George Lutz in The Amityville Horror.
